Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low “Green”

Grateful Dead is an American rock band which was formed in 1965. The signature Grateful Dead bears came originated from the back cover of the album “History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice)” in 1973. The bear is a reference to Owsley “Bear” Stanley, who recorded and produced the album. Now fast forward to 2020 where we see the collaboration between Nike SB and Grateful Dead using the signature bears as the inspiration for the upcoming Nike Dunk. The shoes feature a fuzzy faux fur upper also with a jagged swoosh to represent the jester collar on the signature bears which can be seen on the tongue of the shoe on top of a swoosh. The Grateful Dead Dunks also have a hidden zipped stack pocket on the tongue!
