Basement Approved x Nike Collaboration Releasing This Weekend!
The Facebook group “The Basement” an online streetwear community yesterday revealed it’s collaboration project with Nike. The shoes was first leaked my Basement’s GullyGuyLeo on his Instagram story showing the rear of Nike Dunk Low sneaker with Basement 9 stripe logo, which represents a ladder on the side and BSMNT Nike swoosh on the rear suggesting a collaboration between the two brands.
The shoe, designed by member Daniel Pacitti combines nine materials, including canvas, corduroy denim and leather, to reflect the diversity of the youth within and supported by The Basement. The shoe features a new BSMNT Swoosh logo on the tongue, foot bed and heel, as well as a reflective, embroidered mini swoosh on the lateral side of the toe.
The Nike Dunk Low BSMNT is available exclusively at The Basement x Nike pop-up in Soho, London in very limited numbers on 29th of July in a yet to be disclosed location. All proceeds from the shoe will go toward the Youth Futures organization, which currently provides mentorship programming to London youth, in addition to space for meals and doing homework.
